Datacloud Global Congress takes place every June at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. The 2027 edition runs from 2 to 4 June, with pre-event activities on 1 June (datacloudglobalcongress.com). The 2026 edition welcomed participants from more than 82 countries (organizer techoraco, 2026). A yacht berthed in the Vieux Port, about 2 minutes on foot from the Palais, is a private meeting venue that runs alongside the official program.

Who Attends and What They Need
Datacloud concentrates on data center financing, power procurement and infrastructure delivery. According to the organizer, the audience includes data center operators, hyperscalers, investors, energy and power providers, contractors, fiber operators and equipment makers.
The program highlights include the Digital Infrastructure Finance and Investment Summit, the Energy Storage Forum and the Datacloud Awards. Between these sessions the real business happens in private conversations: investor meetings, partnership discussions and client reviews. These conversations call for a calmer setting than the main floor.
The Location: Vieux Port, Next to the Palais
The Vieux Port of Cannes sits next to the Palais des Festivals. Delegates walk from the Palais to a yacht berth in about 2 minutes.

This proximity makes a yacht practical for back-to-back meetings. A guest can leave a morning panel, walk to the yacht for a working lunch and return to the Palais for the afternoon. The yacht stays at berth for the full duration of the congress. See our Datacloud yacht rental page for dates, pricing and answers to common questions.
Meeting Formats Across the Day
A yacht at Datacloud can host several formats, each suited to a different part of the day.

Morning. Working breakfasts for small groups. The crew prepares a table on the main deck or the flybridge so that coffee and service are ready before the morning sessions begin at the Palais.
Midday. Lunch is a favorite format during congress weeks. Guests enjoy a seated meal or a standing buffet and return to the Palais for the afternoon program.
Afternoon. Board presentations, investor meetings or one-on-one discussions in a private lounge. This format suits fund managers and operators who run consecutive meeting slots.
Evening. Seated dinners or receptions on board, with catering, service, lighting and entertainment organized by Ocean Five. A dinner after the sessions is a natural way to host investors, partners and clients. Discover the formats we produce on our event services page.
Yachts welcome from 10 to 36 guests under way and from 12 to over 100 guests at the quay.
Brand Visibility at the Quay
A yacht at the Vieux Port is visible to delegates walking between the Palais and the surrounding congress area. Branded signage, a welcome space on the quay and custom decor on board are all possible, subject to port and event regulations. Ocean Five checks the applicable rules with the port authority and the event organizer before producing any branded element. Read how yacht branding works at Cannes congresses.

What Ocean Five Handles
Ocean Five manages the entire operation: yacht selection, professional crew, berth coordination at the Vieux Port, catering, entertainment and guest logistics. The company has worked in Cannes since 2002 and arranges yacht hospitality for several congresses each year, including MIPIM, Cannes Lions, TFWA and Datacloud.
Each proposal is built to the client’s brief. Cost depends on the yacht, the number of days, the services and the catering. The pre-event activities on 1 June are a good moment for setup, early arrivals or a first round of meetings.
When to Book
Berths close to the Palais go quickly during congress weeks. Datacloud falls in early June, at the opening of the peak season on the Côte d’Azur. We recommend contacting Ocean Five at least 6 months ahead to secure the yacht and the berth.
