Frequently asked questions about yacht events in Cannes
How many guests can attend a yacht event in Cannes?
Capacity depends on whether the yacht is moored at the quay or under way. Under way, a motor yacht accommodates around 36 guests and a catamaran up to 200. At the quay, events range from 12 guests to 100 or more. Ocean Five selects the vessel that fits your group and coordinates several vessels for larger events.
Can you organize a product launch on a yacht?
Yes. Ocean Five has produced branded product launches at sea with full AV setups, custom décor, live entertainment and media coordination. Contact us to discuss your concept and we will advise on the best vessel and format.
What catering options are available?
A chef is present on board. Beyond 12 guests, we bring in caterers or additional chefs and kitchen assistants. Options range from cocktail canapés and buffet formats to multi-course seated dinners. All dietary requirements are accommodated. We also manage the full beverage program including Champagne and signature cocktails.
How far in advance should I book a yacht event?
For a professional event, book at least 1 to 2 months ahead. For the largest congresses such as MIPIM, Cannes Lions, TFWA and Datacloud, book the yacht at least 6 months ahead.
Do you handle guest transfers?
Yes. Ocean Five coordinates chauffeur transfers, taxi boats and tender services.
