The Lerins Islands are 15 minutes from Cannes port by yacht. Ile Sainte-Marguerite and Ile Saint-Honorat are the closest and most popular day charter destination from Cannes. Ocean Five arranges crewed yacht charters to the islands for swimming, snorkelling and lunch at anchor.
The Iles de Lerins sit 2.5 nautical miles off the coast of Cannes. By motor yacht, you are anchored in clear water in 15 minutes. The contrast with the Croisette is immediate: pine forests, rocky shores, turquoise water and near-silence.
Ile Sainte-Marguerite is the larger island. The north side has sheltered anchorages with sandy bottoms, perfect for swimming and snorkelling. The island is home to the Fort Royal, where the Man in the Iron Mask was imprisoned. Walking trails cross the pine and eucalyptus forest.
Ile Saint-Honorat is the smaller island, home to a working monastery since the 5th century. The monks produce wine and liqueur. You can visit the abbey, walk the coastal path and have lunch at La Tonnelle, the island’s restaurant.
This is Ocean Five’s most popular day charter route. It works for couples, families, corporate groups and congress delegates looking for a break from the Palais.

Depart Cannes at 10 AM. Anchor on the north side of Sainte-Marguerite. Swim, snorkel, paddleboard. Lunch on board prepared by the crew or catered by Ocean Five. Return by 3 PM.
